The dual-gantry welding workstation is designed for automatic welding of extra-long structural steel workpieces. Adopting dual-robot collaborative welding and cantilever gantry travelling system, it delivers continuous long-seam welding, improves production throughput and guarantees consistent weld quality.

The workstation includes 2 sets of intelligent welding control systems equipped with SmartWeld software, on-site PC, cameras and laser sensors to enable intelligent programming from 3D CAD models. Two robotic welding units are integrated, each with a maximum reach of 2100mm, 6kg payload and ±0.05mm repeat positioning accuracy, together with external axis control for the gantry. The cantilever gantry frame is 24m long and 6m wide, using rack-and-pinion and linear guideways for X-axis movement. It also comes with 2 sets of water-cooled welding power sources, wire feeders and heavy-duty water-cooled welding torches fitted with collision sensors.

Overall dimension: 24m×7.5m×3.9m, total power 34KW, max working envelope 22m×0.5m×0.45m. Average welding productivity ranges from 140 m to 200 m per day depending on workpiece structure.

The dual-robot gantry design allows synchronized welding. Laser sensors track weld seams in real time. Water-cooled torches support long-cycle continuous welding, cutting manual labor and reducing weld defects. It is a stable, high-automation solution for mass production of long steel profiles and heavy structural parts.
